Our Privacy Policy covers the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information that may be collected by the AHAthat™ (run by THiNKaha®) anytime you interact with our service, such as when you visit and the website, when you user, purchase or subscribe to our products and services, or when you contact us.

Please take a moment to read this policy to learn about the type of information we collect, how we use the information, to whom we disclose the information, and how we safeguard your personal information. Your privacy is important to us and we make every effort to protect it.

What personal information we collect and how we use it

We want you to either create a user ID or use a social media site to sign up for the AHAthat. This allows us to see your valid email address, which we use to inform you of upcoming new feature releases, promotions or service interruptions and to share your email address with the author/sponsor of the AHAbooks™ you use. NOTE: You have the ability to turn off broadcast messages in the Settings tab of the AHAthat

How We Protect Your Personal Information

We take precautions — including administrative, technical, and physical measures — to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all web pages where personal information is required or displayed.

Please help us by also taking precautions to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often using a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure Web browser such as the latest releases of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or Safari.

Cookies and Other Technologies

As is standard practice on many websites, we use "cookies" and other technologies to help us understand which features of our service are the most popular so that we may spend more research effort improving those areas. We also use cookies to help simplify the log-on process should our visitors wish to be ‘remembered’.

As is true of most websites, we gather various bits of information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes, but is not limited to, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, and date/time stamp.

We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track user’s movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We will not use this data to produce marketing directed to an individual.

Privacy Questions

If you have questions or concerns about our Privacy Policy, please contact us. We may update our privacy policy from time to time. When we change the policy in any material way we will notify our registered users via their username (email address) and will post a notice on our website.
